And it started life as an old box that my children kept their building blocks in

Undercoated and painted with some left over off-white paint.

I made balsa wood beams and floor, stained with some dark oak varnish.

With beams and floor in place I added a false door to the back and a plate shelf on the wall.

	I cut holes out of the box lid for the main window and the window for the door. Then by adding more balsa wood beams I framed the window and created a false door.
	Two customers enjoying a chat over a cup of tea. Betty looks on, waiting for her customers to finish so she can clear the table .


	Plates, tea pot and cups are made from polymer clay, hand painted and vanished. Tables and chairs were also homemade. Dresser and figures are sold in my shop.
